Sometimes life throws a wrench into our plans. 2020 has definitely thrown a wrench into many of our couples wedding plans. For Jake and Alana that meant many changes for their wedding but in the end their beautiful backyard wedding was perfect. It was intimate, personal and told their story beautifully.

How cool are these boathouse rowing crew senior pictures? Caden was so fun to work with. We met at the Wyandotte Boat Club and had some portraits made outdoor as well as some indoors as well.

It was great meeting Jacob for his senior portrait session. We met at Toledo Botanical Gardens where we had his sister’s senior session a few years earlier.

Dani & Jarrett Met at YMCA as lifeguards and had their first date at an apple orchard so it was only fitting they had a beautiful fall wedding. Sure, covid put a wrench in their plans like so many couples trying to get married this year but their entire day was beautiful and full of so much joy. Their ceremony took place at Simply Married in downtown Toledo and their intimate reception was held at their new home in Perrysburg. The weather was perfect, the fall decorations were beautiful and their faces were full of smiles all day long.

You’ve made it to your senior year.. Congratulations! One of the most iconic things you’ll get to do senior year is have senior photos taken. To make your senior photo experience all it can be we’re going to spill the tea on how to plan your outfits.
- First and foremost, make it yours. These are your photos, your style and personality should shine through.
- When starting the planning process we suggest picking at least three outfits – diverse from each other.
- Pick clothing you love. Outfits you feel your best in. Solids are going to work great. They won’t distract from your face. Patterns aren’t bad though if done correctly. Try to keep busy or loud patterns to a minimum. Instead add a soft pattern and layer it with a solid.
- Plan from head to toe. Your shoes may not show in every photo but they will be showing in some. Clean those dirty kicks!
- Accessorize and layer. Layers give us posing options which is a good thing. A flowy dress gives movement to your photos. That felt hat gives your hands something to hold on to.
- Don’t forget the little details. Groom your nails!
- Take a deep breath & Just have fun. Go along with our goofy prompts. More than anything we want you to be relaxed and ready to have a good time.
We love a good sunflower field senior session!
Raegan requested a sunflower field senior session and I knew just the place to go. We headed to Gust Brothers Flower farm in Ottawa Lake Michigan and it did not disappoint! I think Raegan would shine in basically any setting though.

Rachel and Joseph met in Toledo about a year and a half ago at a friends party and sparks flew. They were just married at an intimate wedding ceremony late August at the beautiful Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in downtown Toledo. Covid 19 rearranged their plans, as it has changed so many couples tying the knot in 2020 but the day was intimate and beautiful. For those unable to attend, the ceremony was live streamed so their loved ones could still participate in the happy occasion. Following the ceremony they had a family luncheon at the Poco piatti downtown Toledo location. They are planning to have a larger reception in the future to celebrate with the rest of their friends and family.
