We had the PERFECT night for Alana and Jakes Toledo engagement session. The weather was perfect and plenty was in bloom at the Toledo Botanical Gardens. They had never been there so it was fun to explore with them. We traipsed through flower fields, danced under willow trees, made new deer friends (keep scrolling to see footage of that) and got to laugh and learn more about eachother. When we were walking back to our cars Jake said this was fun! I didn’t expect it to be this fun. It was kind of like visiting a therapist instead of a photographer. This is exactly what we hope our sessions are for our couples! We want them to be able to look back at the photos and remember having fun and falling even more in love if thats possible. We can’t wait for their Toledo Zoo wedding!

Grandkids are the best I’m told. My dad always says they’re the reward for not killing your own kids? (haha thanks dad)
For the Lemerands, they are firm believers in grandkids being the best and take full advantage when they get to come to Toledo. The kids traipsed all over Toledo going to the zoo, the movies, having birthday parties and getting ears pierced. They also made time to celebrate the occasion of spending time together by scheduling some family photos.
We held the family session right in grandma and grandpas back yard which was great! The kids are comfortable there and the landscaping is beautiful plus what a meaningful place to hold a session. I loved getting to meet them, chase them around the backyard and hear their little giggles and knock knock jokes during the session.
