We’re super excited for Kayla and Allen’s wedding next Summer! We met them in downtown Perrysburg to get some engagement photos taken… and how cute are they?! After living in downtown Perrysburg Ohio for a while it became a special place for them so we found it fitting to document their engagement there. Afterward we headed to MacQueens Apple Orchard in Holland OH to photograph this beautiful fall season. It was also a location of one of their first dates. These two were a blast to work with and we can’t wait till July 2017 for their wedding!

Once upon a time two souls became one. The couple met years ago when they were just kids; eventually life moved Joanna to Europe and Joshua to Florida. Years later Joanna moved back to Toledo and despite the distance, they started a long distance relationship and ended up finding they were meant to be.

Joshua proposed at Disney World last year and the couple began planning the big day! They settled on the Lodge at Oak Openings which is a quaint location in Swanton, OH for their intimate wedding venue. Joanna was very much a DIY bride. She planned and worked with the support of her family to plan a perfect fairytale themed wedding.

One of my favorite pieces from the day was the book made by Joanna’s uncle! It was so unique and such a cool backdrop as they begin the next chapter of their fairytale. That along with the vintage car, novel lined isle runner, plum and gold bouquets and the table arrangements really made for a beautiful wedding.

Much of Joanna’s wedding was DIY but she did have gluten free cupcakes from the always amazing 7 Little Cupcakes

We gathered on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Sylvania, Ohio to witness John and Natalie tie the knot. Their closest friends and family were there for support and to celebrate the happy couple during their intimate wedding. The ceremony and reception was held at Olander Park near Toledo, OH. The weather in Toledo was gorgeous all day and ended with a breath taking sunset overlooking the water.

We met in Maumee, OH first to get some getting ready photos of Natalie and her bridesmaids along with a first look with her father before heading off to the ceremony site. Natalie had a rustic themed day with wildflowers and lace lining much of the ceremony and reception details. After the vows were read and they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, we walked around the beautiful grounds of Olander Park to get some portraits of the bridal party and the happy couple. We enjoyed a casual dinner catered by City BBQ and enjoyed music by DJ Bob Norris. Instead of cutting into the traditional cake seen at most weddings, John and Natalie opted to serve their guests an assortment of pies.
