Hallie is the sweetest little lady with dark hair, blue eyes and the cutest little rolls! She has two proud big sisters and a mom and dad who love her so much. Since she was a fall baby I incorporated some richer colors into the session than is normal for newborn sessions. Hallie is so loved! I can’t wait to do more photos for her grow with me sessions.

Lifestyle newborn sessions are where it’s at! Especially when you introduce little siblings into the mix. I love that our lifestyle newborn sessions incorporate your space into the shoot. They are more relaxed and can help siblings be comfortable.

Oh Judy and Kyle <3

I wish I could bottle up some of their cuteness to sprinkle around at my other sessions. They are so sweet and so in love which makes for the best wedding days ever. The wedding day was one for the books! They had a great bridal party and support system, great design and style and great venues. It was only about 45 degrees and windy which may have been so cold for outdoor photos at the Toledo Botanical Gardens but the bridal party rallied in full support of their friends wedding day and I didn’t hear an ounce of complaint from them.

I think our favorite part of the day was all of the genuine real moments shared from the bridesmaids first look, to moments alone with mom before the ceremony, to the first touch and their sweet glances throughout the ceremony.

Northwest Ohio is known to be a little unpredictable with the weather but Bethany and Kyle had an absolutely gorgeous day to celebrate their marriage with friends and family. The event happened at the Tamaron Country Club in Toledo Ohio. While it was a cooler temperature out the sky was the most perfect shade of blue and the sun helped to warm up the day some.

The couple had a purple and gray color scheme with accents of yellow flowers which really brightened up the arrangements. It was a beautiful fall wedding day and we’re so happy for Kyle, Bethany and their families as they begin this new chapter in life.

It’s not always easy running a business and being a stay at home mom. I have to admit since taking on the role of mum-hood, emails sometimes get backed up, I’m more tired than I ever thought possible, scheduling sessions and meetings has become so much more of a challenge and even finding time to edit can be difficult. But at the same time having Nora has changed my perspective about photography and has refocused my attention towards the art in a good way.

I have a greater understanding of what parents need from their sessions in both family sessions and weddings. I now look at those mothers and fathers at weddings differently. I pay closer attention to close family members and can better understand those tears ((of joy)) during certain points of the wedding day.

Parenting is the craziest rollercoaster ride. You have the highest of the highs and some low points too and somehow its all speeding past you at speeds you can barely comprehend. The ride is sometimes scary but it’s more fun than I ever would have imagined and so worth it. <3

The entire session we laughed and joked around. They played along with my cheesy games, ‘tried’ to tell embarrassing stories about each other, danced around open fields at sunset. It was the best time and we can’t be more excited for their 2019 Nazareth Hall wedding!
