Sometimes it rains on wedding days. If you’re planning an Ohio wedding there is ALWAYS a chance of rain. If you’re going to have rain on your wedding day, Nazareth Hall is the place to have it. There are so many beautiful historical structures around the property that can be used even when it rains.

Chelsea and Seth didn’t let the weather rain on their parade. The wedding day went on just like they planned, outdoor ceremony and all. The guests were all so supportive, took up their umbrellas and made the trip down to the Nazareth Hall Grotto to witness the marriage.

Chelsea wore a beautiful Atlas Bridal dress and Seth wore a striking gray tux from president tuxedo. Fun pops of color from the Gardenview flowers really brightened up the whole day.

After the ceremony guests headed back to the Gabriel ballroom for cocktail hour & the reception.

Patrick and Roxanne have the sweetest love story! We loved getting to photograph their wedding day!

They have been together for over 11 years! From their own words: “I (Roxanne) live in Michigan and Patrick lives in Ohio so we see one another every other weekend! We raised our children and put their needs ahead of ours as it is important to us to make sure they were happy.” How perfectly selfless is that? It shows the true selfless love a parent has for their children. To see these two commit to each other, willing to work hard for their relationship all while putting their children first is just the sweetest. They have four kids between the two of them who are all now high school and college age. When I asked them what they were most excited about for marriage they said “just being together. Having someone to be with all the time.” 11 years is a long time to be apart!

Patrick and Roxanne planned a Labor Day weekend wedding at Maumee Bay State Park Wedding because they wanted to make their wedding celebration fun for everyone. They wanted friends and family to be able to travel in, have somewhere fun to stay and help them celebrate this chapter in their lives.

Although the plan was to have a rustic, fall themed wedding Toledo Ohio had other plans. It was almost 100 degrees! There were still tones of rustic themes though in the aged wood arch and beautiful bright fall colored florals.

One of the best things about being a Toledo Ohio Photographer is getting to build relationships with amazing people! Justin and Sam came to us over two years ago when they were needing engagement and wedding photography for their Nazareth Hall wedding. Since the wedding life has been moving at a fast pace for them! They have since bought a beautiful home, are finishing up college and are making leaps and bounds in their careers. So when they called to get some updated photos I was beyond happy to oblige. I love getting to catch up with our couples.

For whatever reason I still remember the song they danced to at their first dance. If my memory serves me well they danced to From the Ground Up by Dan + Shay. The song fit’s their story so perfectly as they begin this new chapter in life.

This session had special meaning on top of just getting some updated photos with their pup, Noel. Justin and Sam have exciting news that a little bundle is on the way! We couldn’t be more excited for these two!! This little babe is already so blessed with parents like these.

Abigail and Daniel had a beautiful labor day weekend wedding! They chose burgundy and navy as their wedding colors which was the perfect start to our fall wedding season. The girls wore floor length chiffon and lace dresses to tie in with Abi’s ballgown. The guys wore navy suits with burgundy ties and brown shoes. The florals from Bartz Viviano tied everything together. The bouquets were filled with white roses and roses, maroon dahlias, and succulents, lambs ears and greenery to bring in texture.

The ceremony was held at Wyldewood Baptist Church in Lambertville Michigan. They invited many of their close friends and family resulting in a good size wedding guest list. The Ceremony was performed by the couple’s long time pastor and the vows were read by Grandpa.

Between the ceremony the couple stopped by to see Abi’s great grandpa and grandma. They were so excited to share in their big day.

Formal photos were taken right on the grounds of the Franciscan Center in Sylvania Ohio which is where the reception was held. The reception commenced with introductions, prayers and toasts, dinner, cake and plenty of dancing. Everything came together beautifully for them and it was a wonderful day.
