I loved photographing this Findlay Ohio Wedding!
You all know I love Toledo. I’m a Toledoan through and through and I love the wedding community here. As a creative though it’s refreshing to be in a new setting and be able to photograph a different style. At this Findlay Ohio Wedding I was a second shooter. Being a second over a lead is such a different vibe. I don’t get the opportunity to second shoot very often so when I do I soak it in. I’m able to focus a ton on details (which I love). I get to take a step back and focus on the smaller moments rather than be so absorbed over the big moments which is a refreshing change of pace.
In addition to it being a different venue and approach this Findlay Ohio Wedding was also uniquely boho styled. The color palate was gorgeous! Soft neutral tones and peach were the focus and were incorporated in the wedding through many fun textures.
I think my favorite detail of this day were the florals. So many florals with draping ribbon textures! To add to the feminine-boho flair there was Pampas Grass EVERYWHERE. All the heart-eyes.
The unique reception space was so dreamy! I couldn’t love this Van Wert County Fairgrounds wedding reception more. The wooden Farm Table and chairs Wedding designs, boho inspired floral chandelier, linen draped walls, peach wedding uplighting, white linens with gold flatware and burlap napkins came together perfectly. I especially loved the peach glassware and the Pampas Grass and floral arrangements.
