Wedding season kicked my butt in 2018. We had our busiest year ever. I’m not complaining by any means but I didn’t have a ton of time to edit photos taken of my own little one. I was doing some winter cleaning of my camera bag and found a memory card from a summer night back in 2018 that I hadn’t ever looked at. Going through the images had me in tears. Tears because my baby has grown up so quickly! The past two years have been such a blur. And tears because I feel overwhelmingly blessed to be this little ones mum.

These photos weren’t anything fancy. We didn’t prepare or pick outfits. I just remember seeing the opportunity to grab some candids one warm Ohio summer night while Nora was running around the back yard with her bouncy curls and a simple onesie playing with her dad and pup.

The responsibility of caring for and raising any child is tough and let’s be honest, Nora isn’t taking it easy on us. Regardless, she is the light of my life and brings me such joy and pride. Having her has opened up a part of my heart I never knew existed and never knew I needed.
