Sweet baby Calia came to visit our Toledo Newborn Studio at just over two weeks old. Calia’s brothers, sister, mom and dad think she’s just the bee’s knees and I couldn’t agree more! If it were up to me I would have cuddled with her all day.

I think my favorite part of her newborn session was how excited her big brothers were. It was adorably sweet how protective they are of her already. Even as young as three years old, they sat super still (which is sometimes hard for me as an adult.. am I right?) while they held her and gave the biggest smiles when talking about her. They kept remarking about how cute she was. Guys… I’m telling you; it was adorable!

Mama was a true worrier during labor. SIXTEEN hours of natural, unmedicated labor before sweet Calia was born at just over 7lbs at one of the local Toledo hosiptals. (Hats off to you natural labor mamas!). By the time Calia came to get her newborn photos taken she was already at 8lbs of pure cuteness.

Her nursery is decorated in pinks, purples, and yellows so I tried to incorporate some of those into her newborn photography session. Scroll through and see all this squishy newborn goodness <3
